Taking Care of Your Hair

Women oftentimes wear extensions (sew-ins) that can often times lead to hair loss. Your hair is under a lot of stress and tension from being sewn and even glued, so it starts to break off. It all starts with taking care of your hair, check out 8 Ways of Natural Hair Care, for great foods that promote hair growth.

Here are 4 DIY tips that help promote hair growth:

  (1) Hot oil treatment massages (olive, coconut, canola) – Heat the oil, so it’s comfortably warm and gently massage your scalp. Cover with a shower cap for an hour, then shampoo.

   (2)  Hydration- Garlic, onion and ginger (yes, these work) are great natural stimulants for hair. Ginger boosts blood flow to the scalp, delivering nutrients to the hair follicle. Onion and garlic juice are great for nourishment and circulation to hair follicles. They kill germs, parasites and fungi infections which can aid in prevention of hair loss. Also, high in sulfate, onion regenerates hair follicles.

   (3)  Massage-massaging your scalp daily for a few minutes stimulates circulation. It releases blood flow, stimulating follicles for hair growth.

   (4)   Being STRESS-FREE, stress and tension causes a lot of bad side effects to our body. Not having some much tension on our bodies allows it to relax, be rejuvenated and work properly.
